Natalia is a creative with a background in the arts and education.
With nearly two decades in the area of education and employment, Natalia’s area of expertise is social intelligence and the role it plays in human health and well-being, particularly in an individual’s ability to access and maintain the employment of their choice.
Her employment placement techniques are recognised and used by employment consultants around Australia and her schools programs are recognised internationally as assisting young people to learn social and workplace interaction skills that last a lifetime.
John Clegg FCA; FAICD
John holds positions of adviser, strategic business analyst and company director. Experience includes ASX listed, private companies, not for profit organisations. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and held Fellow Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
He had 16 years audit and start-ups partner and senior staff roles with Ernst Young, the large international accounting and consulting company. As staff partner it included aspects of staff recruitment, their professional development and human resources adviser for the Perth office for 6 years.
John consults as a best practice mentor to leaders and managers, provides career development advice and is a facilitator for strategic advisory committees, business working groups and forums.
His interests include the changes and opportunities in the workplace through communication strategies and empowering individuals to be the very best they can be at whatever they undertake. As individuals we all have potential and capabilities to make use of and that create results.
John joined Impowrd when he was still at school as part of a work experience program. He was placed into an office administration role assisting the MD Natalia Josephs.
While working in this role she noticed John's drawing pad on his desk and was impressed by his sketches. She began tasking him with small graphic design roles to further develop his natural skill. When he left school he stayed on with Impowrd as a junior graphic artist.
After 12 months in this role Natalia suggested he apply for the new SAE Institute Animation Degree. In December 2016 John graduated with a BA in Animation and is now working full time with Impowrd as their animator and artist.
John comes from a large family and enjoys computer games and animated movies in his spare time.
Don Sanders (M Ed Career Education)
Don Sanders comes highly qualified in the VET sector and general education. During nearly two decades with the West Australian Department of Education in both Central and District Office roles, Don jointly managed The Work Studies Implementation Project and co-wrote the text books on that subject for year 11 and 12's. He has also headed up the Career Education departments of several large schools.
With wide experience assisting and teaching disaffected students, both in primary and secondary education, Don has also designed and delivered successful programs for this specialist area of education, including individualised learning programs for students with ADHD and ASD. Don's years of personal commitment to education has also seen him undertake classroom activities within a primary school, assisting young people through the Visible Learning approach to gain a better understanding of science and the importance of critical thinking.
While serving as the Director WA and NT with APPEA and working with numerous oil and gas majors, he was nationally recognised for his innovative approach to developing career pathways for those people struggling to reach the demanding entry standards required for employment.
With a deep understanding of the challenges facing young people and the job search tools required to prepare them for the transition from school to employment or training, and the difficulties sometimes faced by educators in a time of reduced budgets and higher expectations, he is well suited to his role at Impowrd, where he can utilise his enthusiasm and expertise for sound and effective career education.
Madeline moved from Melbourne to Perth in 2012 to work in events management for a major sporting stadium. She studied International Business (Applied) at RMIT University, majoring in Marketing and Management and proceeded to work in a fast, demanding environment, ensuring memorable experiences at stadium events were delivered. Her passion for creating and coordinating elegant, professional and personal corporate events and weddings then led her to launch Poppin Cork Events.
Additionally, Madeline consults small businesses with their social media marketing strategies and venue coordination. She brings to the team a fresh set of eyes and attention to detail, driving the marketing and events for Impowrd.
In her free time, Madeline volunteers for Parkerville Children & Youth Care and enjoys soaking up the fantastic Perth lifestyle.
